Head of Software Development

Dceed is a growing IT solutions company with German and Turkish co-founders. Our activities focused on the fields Software Development and Consulting. We realize projects for clients in Europe, and especially in Germany.

We are looking for a Head of Software Development to join our team in Istanbul. You will work on our client projects to build end-to-end functionalities, innovative solutions for their complex problems.

If you are an excellent communicator, experienced manager of development teams, have a high attention to detail and excellent technical knowledge, then we’d love to hear from you.  

Responsibilities

• Further develop, manage and mentor our software development team
• Supervise technology, workflow and architectural design decisions
• Be the first point of contact for our client projects related technical topics
• Supervise your team to build scalable and easy maintainable applications
• Participate in code reviews and data protection processes

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
• Proven leadership experience (Head of, Lead) for managing and mentoring cross-functional teams
• Deep understanding of software design, deployment management, versioning and scaling
• Experience leading teams in an agile context
• Practical knowledge in Cloud Technologies (Google Cloud, BigQuery, AWS)
• Excellent communication and inspiring leadership skills
• Fluent in written and spoken English
